What is considered an early morning wake?

An early morning wake is when your child wakes up before they are getting the ideal amount of sleep they need overnight.

Babies and toddlers need 11-12 hours so do the math here for your little one! If they are going down at 6 pm at night and waking at 5 am then they've actually achieved 11 hours which is a reasonable expectation!

​

Here at Just Love Sleep, we deem anything between 5-6 am as an early morning wake. If you are seeing any early 4's on the clock, then this is still considered a night wakeup and needs to be treated accordingly.
